rewriting... but for real this time?
It's official - I'm jumping back into the feature film rewrite! Betty Fleetfoot is off to the races again hehe. I hope to jump into the actual reworking of the 2nd and 3rd act scenes soon!? We shall see!
First - it's so incredibly nice to be back at it.
It really is. Tho it's been a good break (and I'll go into all that sometime) I'm thrilled to be blessed with a bit of time to work on this project again.
Last time we really talked I think the script rewrite was stuck at half done.
I hope to change that. 😅
As of earlier today, I have been able to go through the entire 123 pages of the Betty Fleetfoot screenplay which is MAJOR for me!!
Details include:
- Locking the first 50 pages (by literally changing the font color to white so I can't re-read and re-edit anything)
- Taking notes on what needs to be changed for each remaining scenes.
- And miraculously being able to come up with a rough draft of the new major beats for the remaining 73 pages.
The plan (Lord willing) is to work on turning the random scene fragments I have laying around into a full draft over the next few days!!? We shall see but I'd appreciate your prayers for focus, wisdom and creativity!
Obviously I also need to work on cooking up the videos I have been holding off on finishing for a while haha.
All to say - I've got plenty of work to do.
But that's a good thing 😄
