No Games - behind the crazy scenes.
This is me, pinned to the ground somewhere in New Hampshire, under a ridiculously heavy door. You're probably wondering how I got here. So am I. (I have a new video out, watch to get the full story lol)

It's not every day that you get to say that you drove a thousand miles to help make a movie. But, earlier this year in the latter part of May, despite all the reasons it shouldn't have happened, I got to be a part of the film crew for No Games. And boy was it an adventure.
But before that, it goes without saying - I never expected to get this far. I had almost replied to the invitation in jest.

Sure, I had said that I wanted to visit my filmmaker friends in the New England area for years. But had I meant it? Probably not.
A thousand miles is far, and I liked the comfort and safety of home... but what if that could change?
You see, after going to CWVFF in March the seeds of adventure were firmly planted in my heart. After going, I was almost waiting to do something crazy like this. And then it came. The opportunity, and yes. In hindsight - only by the grace of God, I took it.
I was back on the road.

The trip there was 16 hours long which made for a very a long day of driving... but boy was New Hampshire beautiful.

I had a day of downtime before the gang got together which let me explore the area a bit, but the following days of shooting were pure madness in the best sense possible.

There were late nights, early mornings, and everything in-between and I loved every second of it.

Mark Nelson who I had only first met in person at CWVFF two months beforehand, was the one directing and producing and had somehow gotten together the perfect crew for the project.
Honestly, it's changed the way I want to work on my future projects. In a unique turn of events, it's let me live out what I could have only vicariously dreamt of only a few months before.
Being there, as a crew member of No Games, was an answered prayer that I never prayed. The way God works is so much more all encompassing than what any of us could plan. Isn't it?
With that in mind, I've spent countless hours combing through the behind the scenes footage to give you one of the craziest videos I've ever made.
I gladly present to you episode 2 of the Something New series:
Give it a watch sometime - it will be worth the time.
