First Quarter 2026 Update | January-March Newsletter
It's been a crazy first quarter over at WW Studios - new blog post on https://members.wwstudios.org
We're late but hey - we've been busy! These first 3 months of 2026 were filled with whirlwind road trips, 2 Creative Meet-Ups, a film festival, a concert, voice casting, and more!
First Quarter 2026 Highlights:
- Christmas/New Year Family Trip: Our family drove down to North Carolina at the end of the year to say goodbye to our Grandad, who has since passed (Jan 16, 2026). Praise God for the priceless memories we made, and for Grandad's salvation!!! We then swung up, visited family in Maryland (and got to meet our new aunt!), and spent two crazy nights in DC. Joshua got to meet an online friend from Virginia and they hung out while the rest of the fam toured see the Capitol. It was a really special trip. ❤

- Creative Meet-Ups: Joshua came up with an idea last year: host a 'creative meet-up' where people interested in making short films come together to make one! The first one took place in December and what came of it was a really silly short film about the origins of 67. It was neat to see over 20 people come together and create something! But it needed some order. So, when the 2nd Creative Meet-Up rolled around in February, the videographers and production design people met earlier to figure out how to make production go more smoothly – huge shout out to Stephen and Elise! That set everyone up well for the actual acting and filming. Thanks to everyone who drove all the way down here to participate! 🙏 So without further ado: Elina Peacock, a short film about Clue's Peacock, who plans to murder a man she can't forgive.

- Betty Fleetfoot has seen some significant progress. Joshua's been trusting God as he delves back into Betty's world, and has finished a 6the revision of the screenplay! And, drum roll please...here's the first TEASER TRAILER! Now we are working on casting! The 50+ people who've reached out to voice act are a huge blessing.
- CWVFF: Joshua and Kadin attended the Christian Worldview Film Festival this year together. Although they submitted the music video of You Are My God and it was played at the festival, they didn't win - all glory to God still! They had an awesome time there. Kadin ran into a few familiar faces and Joshua volunteered. They both got to meet lots of cool people!
- No Games: Last year, Joshua drove out to New Hampshire and had a whole adventure helping internet friends shoot a 15-minute long short film. It was a great learning experience which in many ways INSPIRED the Creative Meetups. All to say - the short film is out after playing at CWVFF! Go show them some love!!

- Our cousin's wedding!!! Right after the CWVFF, Joshua and Kadin drove from Georgia to Texas, where the rest of the family was preparing for our cuz Allison's wedding! (In between states, the minivan they were driving decided to act weird. They made it to Texas and then the van had to be fixed. Thank God it didn't break down beforehand!) Joshua was set to film the whole wedding, while Saraina played piano, Kadin and Paloma sang, and Autumn played guitar during the service. The piano pedal refused to work....🤦♂️ Oh well. It was still a beneficial experience. Hanging out with our extended family was awesome!
- The Easter Concert: Last Saturday (March 27), Kadin got to have his very first Easter Concert! It featured songs such as Calling For You, Song of the Unworthy, and of course ALIVE. 81 people attended - a huge THANK YOU to everyone who came! We're so humbled by your willingness to worship God and support a local artist. We didn't record the audio properly (oops!) but you can check an edit of it on Youtube.
What is God going to do next? What will the 2nd quarter of 2026 bring? We don't know but we're so excited to see what God will bring our way!
JOSHUA NOTE: HUGE shout out to Paloma (my younger sister) who wrote this update. Can we drop some love in the comments for her?! I have been stupidly busy lately and it's a blessing to have her do this!!
No promises but I hope to start making some more short form videos and even some livestream content on my channel in the next few months so stay tuned 😄
God bless - Enjoy the journey.
