CWVFF 2025
So I just got back from CWVFF on Sunday and let me tell you - I'm so thankful that I got to go! I met so many incredible people and will HIGHLY recommend everyone I know to go next year LOL.
I'll be honest though. At first, I wasn't so sure about going:
- I'd have to drive solo across the country (the farthest I'd driven was 2.5 hours.)
- I'd be staying with people I'd only known online (sounds safe.)
- I'd never been to a festival (I had no idea what to expect!)
But what I keep learning is that you can't let the fear of the unknown hold you back! You need to take baby steps of faith and let the Lord lead. While the drive was long it wasn't nearly as bad as I had expected. While I'm normally an introvert who likes to stay at home, I learned to enjoy meeting people left and right. While I had never been to a film festival before, I got a chance to enjoy the journey.
